Community Guidelines

Welcome to True — a place to connect and share with the people who matter most to you. We want you to love being on True, so it’s important we recognize that we are all in this together as part of this community, and agree to be good to each other.

Be Nice, Be Real, Be Honest

We strive to be a force for good in the world. We’re real people sharing original content and experiences to connect with friends and strengthen our sense of community.

True is for people of every gender, color and creed. We encourage everyone to be true — we encourage you to use your real identity and only share content and information you believe to be true.

To create a safe space, we’ve chosen to take a stance against certain types of content that detracts from our community.

Intellectual Property

Only upload or share content of which you are the rightful owner. Do not share content from other people or use their copyrights or trademarks.

Sensitive Personal Information & Privacy

Never share the personally identifying information (“pii”) of other people on True (doxing).

Sexually-oriented content

We do not permit sexually related content, whether graphic or suggestive in nature. Posting or threatening to post intimate images of others, or potential exploitation of a minor, are explicitly illegal and will be dealt with accordingly.

Threats

Threatening or antagonizing any person for any reason (such as bullying, trolling, threatening or harassing) is strictly prohibited.

Violence

Any content that contains or depicts violence against a person, animal or property, whether real or fake (such as gore or shock content); that could incite violence, terror or lead to harm against others; or that could be considered hate speech is prohibited.

Remember...

You are responsible for shaping our community, and we appreciate you bringing violations of our guidelines to our attention. We reserve the right to decide what constitutes a violation of our guidelines. Accounts found to be in violation of our policies will be immediately documented, and the account owner warned or banned depending on the nature of the violation.
